Terms and Conditions

Effective date:

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of https://cardemble.com and, where relevant, your attendance at Cardemble experiences in Brisbane. They set shared expectations for dining, Card Lounge experiences, poker nights and offline poker: face-to-face play between real people around physical poker tables. By using the website or attending an applicable Cardemble experience, you agree to these terms, subject to applicable law.

01 — Website access

Using this website

  1. 01.1

    Acceptance of terms

These terms govern your access to and use of the Cardemble website at https://cardemble.com. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website. Your use is also subject to applicable law and to any relevant policies made available on the website. These terms are intended to explain the basis on which visitors may engage with Cardemble’s online information and hospitality-related communications.

  2. 01.2

    Permitted use

You may use the website for ordinary personal purposes, including learning about Cardemble, its dining offering, the Card Lounge and offline poker experiences, and making legitimate enquiries through the pathways provided. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to disrupt access, use it for an unlawful purpose, or engage with its content in a way that is inconsistent with its intended hospitality purpose. Please use the site respectfully and with consideration for other visitors.

  3. 01.3

    Information and availability

Website content is provided for general information and may change from time to time. Dining details, Card Lounge experiences, poker nights, menus, event information and availability remain subject to confirmation. Cardemble does not guarantee that any particular experience will be available when you visit the website or make an enquiry. If you need current information before making plans, please contact Cardemble about these terms.

02 — Participation

At the table

Cardemble brings contemporary Australian dining together with Card Lounge experiences in a sophisticated, social setting. We ask every guest to help maintain a welcoming dining room and face-to-face poker atmosphere through respectful communication, consideration for others and by following reasonable directions from Cardemble staff or appointed hosts.

01

Physical poker tables and Texas Hold’em

Cardemble’s poker activities are offline and social. They involve real people playing face-to-face around physical poker tables, including Texas Hold’em formats, live tables, poker sessions and poker nights where offered. Participants must follow the relevant table format and any reasonable directions given by Cardemble staff or appointed hosts. This helps keep the experience clear, considered and enjoyable for everyone sharing the Card Lounge environment.

02

Care for people, space and property

Visitors are expected to respect the restaurant, Card Lounge, poker tables, playing cards and other Cardemble property, as well as staff and fellow guests. Disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, abusive or damaging behaviour is not consistent with the intended environment. Subject to applicable law, Cardemble may reasonably refuse, pause or end participation where conduct does not support safety, respectful interaction or the shared hospitality experience.

A considered table is one where conversation, attention and hospitality can comfortably meet.

03 — Correspondence

Enquiries and communications

03.1

Enquiries and confirmations

An enquiry or other communication does not itself guarantee a dining, Card Lounge or poker-night place. Any relevant arrangement is only confirmed when Cardemble confirms it. When making an enquiry, please provide accurate and current information so Cardemble can understand what you are asking about and respond appropriately. Information displayed on the website should be read as an invitation to enquire rather than a promise that a particular experience is available.

03.2

Visitor communications

You are responsible for information and material you send through Cardemble website contact pathways. Do not submit material that is unlawful, harmful or infringes another person’s rights. Where applicable, personal information is handled in accordance with the privacy information available on this website. For more detail about how privacy information is addressed, please read Cardemble’s Privacy Policy.

03.3

Third-party links

If this website includes links to external websites, they are provided for convenience only. Cardemble may not control, approve or endorse the content, availability or practices of those external websites. Before using an external website, you should review its own terms, privacy practices and other relevant information independently.

04 — Material and use

Content and intellectual property

05.1

Cardemble material

Content on this website, including written material, visual material, branding and layout elements, may be protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and use that material personally in a way that is consistent with these terms. Except where permitted by law or where Cardemble gives prior permission, you must not copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute or commercially exploit website material. Nothing in these terms transfers any rights in Cardemble material to you.

05.2

Visitor-provided material

If you send material through a Cardemble website communication channel, you should only send material you have the right to share. You must not submit content that infringes another person’s rights or is unlawful. This applies wherever a website communication pathway is available. Cardemble does not ask visitors to provide material for publication simply by making an enquiry, and these terms do not create any broader publishing arrangement.

05 — Legal framework
